First of all much of Alaska is much closer to the North Pole than Patagonia
is to the South Pole. At the southernmost point of our Patagonia trip we
were at 53° South but the northnmost point in our Alaska trip we were
were at 63° North.
We flew to Vancouver to meet up with the rest of our party of 11. There we enjoyed amazing
Asian cousine and took in the sights. Then we boarded the Norwegian Sun and did the 7 day Glacier
Bay Inside Passage itinerary.
The cruise ends in Seward, Alaska, which is a couple hours south of Anchorage. There we checked out the
very cool Exit Glacier, stopped in Achorage for some decent pizza then continued on to Denali National Park.
There we stayed at a small B&B not far from the park entrance.

Vancouver before the cruise
We spent about a day and a half in the great city of Vancouver. Here we mostly enjoyed the Asian cousine, went to Grouse Mountain and visited the Richmond Night Market..
