We did a great trip to Phang Nga where we used sea kayaks to enter the islands that's only possible during low tide to visit otherwise inaccessible parts of the islands.

Booked the trip through John Gray Seacanoe. Got picked up by a van and driven to a pier on the northeast side of Phuket. There we boarded a large comfortable boat. Snacks were served on the way to the first site. Once there they got a bunch of canoes ready. Each canoe had a guide who did all the canoeing and up to two passengers.

The first cave was pretty long and filled with bats. The tricky part was at the end where we can to lay flat on our backs to avoid scraping our faces against the roof. Once inside we immediately saw a family of Macaques.

The second cave wasn't as challenging but very different. The interesting thing there were a couple Hornbills. There was also a nice rock formation between the two islands. After that we had a bit of free time to kayak around on our own and/or swim in the bay.

Finally after dinner and the sunset we returned to the first cave and let the Hongs we made on the boat out inside the cave.
